01. Discover

Conducted interviews and surveys with students and professors to gather insights. Used these findings to prototype, perform root cause analyses, and build iceberg models to uncover deeper issues.

03. Design

Started by wireframing on paper to outline the basic user journey. Then built interactive prototypes in Adobe XD, implementing the visual design and flows.

02. empathise

Collected quantitative and qualitative data to create two primary user personas. Then mapped the customer experience to better understand pain points and opportunities.

04. Test & Refine

Ran usability testing (including A/B tests and click tests) to identify improvements. Made key adjustments based on real user feedback to better adapt the experience to their needs.

EducaBag is a mobile platform designed to empower Brazilian high school students to explore academic opportunities.


By connecting students with tailored educational activities, nearby events, free virtual courses, personalized book recommendations, and financial education tools, EducaBag promotes a holistic approach to student growth.
The app also helps students build meaningful connections with peers who share similar goals, fostering supportive networks that encourage collective progress.

This initiative arose from an in-depth exploration of Brazil’s educational inequalities, mental health challenges, and the lack of personalized learning paths. It was supported by SESI São Paulo and the University of São Paulo, and developed during a Facebook Hack Station event. Throughout the process, I applied UX/UI principles aligned with global standards, enhancing my skills in user-centered design, digital prototyping, and ethically integrating technology into education.

My goal was to reimagine modern learning experiences that inspire agency and future-oriented mindsets, while staying rooted in local needs.

To visualize and make tangible the root causes of the problem and the actual stakeholders involved, I created diagrams in Miro based on data from qualitative research.

After two years of research and design, EducaBag was launched, positively impacting 1,000 students in the Osasco community. The app guided students on a journey of self-discovery through personalized learning paths, local opportunities, and financial education. It also helped build supportive networks among students with similar dreams, encouraging shared growth and aspirations.
